The Churches of Columbia will hold a free barbecue on Saturday, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. (food served 2-4 p.m.) with bounce house and games for adults and children. A brief worship service starts at 4 p.m.  Sponsoring churches are Burning Bush Baptist, Columbia Baptist, Memorial Baptist, Rising Mount Zion Baptist, St. John’s Episcopal and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic. Gather at St. John’s and St. Joseph’s (across from the post office). All are invited.
