Longtime Cumberland County Public Library volunteer Mary Sigman was recently spotted helping patron Bucky Smith with a technical issue as he worked in the library. Sigman is one of 19 volunteers at the library who help with programs, answer questions, shelve materials and help keep the library an integral part of the community. “Our library would not be the wonderful place it is without their devoted and knowledgeable help,” said Librarian Jennifer Beach. These volunteers — and those that work in libraries across the area — are to be commended for their dedication and hard work.
