Longwood University women’s soccer seniors Olivia Colella, Alana Mackey and Meghan Magee were appointed team captains for the 2015 season by the Lancer coaching staff, head coach Todd Dyer announced Friday. Those three return for their final season as three-year starters of a Longwood program that has earned top-three finishes in the Big South in two of their three seasons. Collectively, the trio has made 165 starts and appeared in 178 games, helping the Lancers to a 30-23-7 overall record and a 19-10-3 mark in Big South play during their careers.

Colella has split time between the midfield and front line since her freshman year and enters her senior season with nine career goals and seven career assists.

A 5-3 native of Herndon, she reached career highs in both those categories as a junior, scoring four times and dishing out four assists while playing a career-high 1,319 minutes on the pitch.
