Denzel Lipscomb was recently awarded the James H. Franklin and the Ethel Wilson Fisher scholarships.

The James H. Franklin scholarship is given by Sharon Baptist Church in memory of the Rev. Franklin, and the Ethel Fisher scholarship is given in her memory by her family. The scholarships are for $250 and $500.

Denzel will be attending Liberty University in the fall. He is a member of Sharon Baptist Church and is the son of Ms. Michelle Lipscomb and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lipscomb.
