The Heartland Family Support Group for children and youth with special needs is holding an open house on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Church of Christ, 1401 Milnwood Road, Farmville. This is a causal social gathering for those in Prince Edward and surrounding counties interested in getting involved. Membership is free and open to all. Drinks and snacks will be served — come with the whole family and enjoy this get-to-know event in the community.
