CUMBERLAND — A new roof at Cumberland Elementary School has been installed.

The project, which began months ago, replaced the original roof which was installed when the building was first constructed in 1996.

“The original roof had a 15-year warranty and we were on year 19. It was leaking in various locations throughout the building,” said Assistant Superintendent Chip Jones. “Over the next few weeks the process of replacing the gutters will begin.”
