Spring Hill Baptist Church, Blackstone, will celebrate its 171st anniversary on July 5 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. C. R. Austin, of Waverly, will be guest speaker. The Spring Hill Inspirational Choir will provide music. At 3 p.m. a dedication service for the new church will be held. The Rev. Leroy Cherry, of Third Baptist Church, Petersburg, will speak, and the Third Baptist Church Choir will provide the music.
