New Bethel Baptist Church, Meherrin, will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pastor Haney Thomas Jr. on Sunday at 3 p.m. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Raleigh Bagley III, pastor of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City; he will be accompanied by his choir and congregation.
