HAMPDEN-SYDNEY – Hampden-Sydney College has solidified an exciting recruitment initiative with Oracle, a Fortune 100 technology leader headquartered in Silicon Valley. Oracle aims to hire 30-plus exceptional recent graduates from Hampden-Sydney and surrounding Virginia institutions, including the University of Richmond, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, and the College of William and Mary. Efforts will focus on entry-level candidates with 0 to 2 years of professional experience for technical sales positions.
Interested students are encouraged to attend an informational session to meet with Oracle recruiters and learn more about the company’s unique career opportunities. The first session will be held at the University of Richmond on November 16.
“The colleges and universities participating in this consortium agreement with Oracle unanimously provide solid undergraduate preparation for careers that are enhanced by a strong liberal arts education,” said Hampden-Sydney’s President Christopher Howard, who spearheaded the initiative.
“Current students and recent graduates will have the rare opportunity to get their foot in the door at a leading technology powerhouse.”
