The Farmville- Prince Edward Historical Society will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Historic Farmville Train Station, 510 West Third Street. Bob Flippen, author, local historian and educational

specialist for High Bridge Trail State Park, will be the speaker. His topic will be the Farmville &Powhatan Railroad, a narrow gauge railroad  that ran from Bermuda Hundred to Farmville.
