The 2015 Dejarnette reunion will be held Saturday, July 25, at noon at Childrey Baptist Church about three miles from Brookneal.

All descendants of John Dejarnette, a French Huguenot who came from France in 1699, and Capt. James P. Dejarnette, Revolutionary War officer and two-term sheriff of Halifax County, and friends are invited.

Bring food and drink for your group and photos, documents or other items related to the history of the Dejarnettes. Tables will be available to display these items. Cups, plates and utensils will be supplied.
