CUMBERLAND COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING

The Cumberland County Planning Commission will meet on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in Room C-8 of the Cumberland County Community Center located at the corner of Anderson Highway (Route 60) and Forest View Road (Route 628) in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct public hearings pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-2204, which such hearing may be continued or adjourned, as required under applicable law, and to consider the following items and taking actions in furtherance thereof:

Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 15-07 Blue Door Mini Storage– A conditional use request to allow mini-storage in an A-2 District.  The property is located on Plank Road, approximately one mile north of Airport Road, and is designated as tax map parcel 96-A-12.  The parcel is 8.5 acres, and is zoned A-2.  The parcel is not within the designated growth area and is within Election District 5.

Copies of the complete text of the proposed conditional use permit is available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Planning Department, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm of each business day.  The public is invited to attend this hearing at which persons affected may appear and present their views.
