PE’s Bogese Swings Into First Place

FARMVILLE — Prince Edward County resident Bruce Bogese was crowned The Fishin’ Pig Ping Pong Tournament champion on Sunday, June 14.
Nine people competed.
“I think the hours and hours of working on just my serve really paid off. Hopefully, more people will turn out for the July tournament to bring out the best players in the Farmville area. To be the best, I have to beat the best,” said Bogese.
Matt Hurley was the second place winner in the tournament.
The next ping pong tournament at The Fishin’ Pig will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12.
