Pamplin Dance To Celebrate ‘Spring Gardens’

The Pamplin Dance is celebrating “Spring Gardens.” On Saturday, June 6, in addition to the music provided free monthly by Farm Use String band, the Pamplin Dance will feature dinner by Pamplin neighbors Sam Finkelstein and Ashley Wright; owners and operators of Arcadia Hold located in Pamplin.
They will be serving a Farm Fresh Dinner with produce provided from their farm and two others; Thistle Down Farm and Turnip the Beets Farm. The menu includes Cheesy Grits Casserole, farm fresh collards and garden salad, homemade bread and biscuits and sweet tea, plus drink, and desserts provided by PALS.
Arcadia Hold practices natural farming techniques and does not use pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.
Their produce can be purchased Thursday in Powhatan on Rt. 60 in the Tractor Supply Plaza, 4-7 p.m. and Saturday at the STEPS Center in Farmville on Rt. 15, 8 a.m. – noon.
