On April 25, Carol Hugh Gillispie received her Master’s degree in Education (MEd) for Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from Concordia University-Portland in Oregon. The graduation was attended by six family members who enjoyed touring the West Coast while traveling to Oregon for this event. Gillispie is the daughter of Carroll and Debbie Gillispie, of Farmville. She is currently employed as a second grade teacher at Buckingham Primary.
