DILLWYN — According to Virginia State Police Trooper R.M. Chambliss, a Buckingham Branch Rail Road Train struck an unloaded tractor-trailer in Dillwyn Friday evening when the vehicle attempted to cross the tracks before the train approached the crossing at 17595 North James Madison Highway in Buckingham County. No injuries were reported, says the trooper, and minor damage was done to the train and the vehicle. According to Chambliss, the train contained a total of eight parts and five loaded cars.
