Faye Asal hosted family members from the area—the youngest bring two years old.

Grace M. Ownby made some visits with family and friends. First, to Gloucester Point to help her friend, Jo Kimsey, celebrate her 96th birthday. Then Grace went to a family Thanksgiving in Poolesville, MD where generations included great-grandchildren. Martha Thompson joined family members at the home of Mike and Cindy Clark and Andrew Clark for Thanksgiving.

Diane C. Young spent a family Thanksgiving in Troutville at the home of Hunter and Sue Young.

Alice A. Higgins had family Thanksgiving on two Sundays. First, at the home of Joe and Janet Higgins; the following Sunday she accompanied Ernie and Laura Higgins to the Tar Wallet Church fellowship supper.

Betty A. Foster’s Thanksgiving was held at the home of the Walter H. Youngs of Richmond. Present from San Francisco, CA, was her granddaughter, Courtney Woodburn, who is participating in an internship toward a Master’s Degree.

June A. Warriner joined in the family gathering on Thanksgiving Day at the home of the Sears family here. June and Shirley Whaley visited Page Johnson at Brookview.

Anne N. Varner joined in the large family Thanksgiving celebration in the home of Lawrence and Linda Varner.

Artie Moody’s November birthday (Veterans’ Day) was celebrated with family coming from Woodstock, as well as family in this area.

John A. Robinson of Corona, CA, spent Thanksgiving week with family members here.

Lloyd and Sherri Robinson and family of Mocksville, NC spent the Thanksgiving weekend with the Michael and Sarah Schember family, and joined in family activities with the Robinsons here.
