CUMBERLAND, October 23 — Edward Lee Helton Sr., 70, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. He was born in Elizabethton, TN on July 11, 1944 to the late Millard L and Mary Carden Helton. He lived and worked as a dairy farmer and loved nature and all the outdoor activities like hunting, fishing. He always had some farm animal as a pet and would spend hours playing cards and watching wrestling.

Mr. Helton is survived by his children, Edward Lee Helton Jr. (Amy) of Green Bay, Tammy Leigh Watkins (Mel) of Cumberland and Michael Lynn Helton (Amy) of Green Bay; ten grandchildren; sisters, Mary West (Norman) of Powhatan, Patsy Johnson (John) of Chesterfield, Nancy Rickmond(Howard) of Cumberland, and Doris Diane Justice (Norman) of Cumberland; and brothers, Gene Helton and Steve Helton (Brenda) both of Cumberland. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Charles Helton and Billy Ray Helton.

A graveside funeral service was held on Thursday, October 23 in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cumberland.
