CURDSVILLE — Virginia State Police are still investigating the cause of a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning (April 13) that claimed three lives in Buckingham, according to an email from State Police Public Relations Director Corinne Geller.

“Virginia State Police Trooper C.W. Martin was called to the scene at 12:15 a.m. on Route 15, less than a mile north of Route 620 (Mill Road), in Buckingham County,” her email states.

“A 2008 Infiniti G35 was traveling south on Route 15 at a high rate of speed when it ran off the left side of the road. The car then struck several trees. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car,” she cites.
