KEYSVILLE, March 20 — Garland Byrd Waller, 83, of Keysville, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Waller is survived by his wife, Verna V. Waller; a daughter, Rita W. Williams; granddaughter, Cheri Morgan and her husband, Chris; great-grandson, Aiden B. Morgan; brother, Claude Waller; two sisters, Doris Shorter and Frances Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service with Military Honors was held Thursday, March 20 in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral, Keysville, is in charge of the arrangements.
