January 23 — Happy Birthday wishes go out to Jan Barone Crawley and John Trammell, both of Farmville, celebrating on Friday, January 24, Alan Gough, of Winginia, celebrating on Thursday, January 30, and Kathleen McCoy, of Appomattox, celebrating on Friday, January 31.
Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, Susie Taylor, of Dillwyn, and Patricia Woodfin, of New Canton, all enjoyed an evening of fellowship at a Dillwyn Restaurant on Friday, January 17.
Congratulations to Larry and Barbara Barone of Cumberland. The couple will celebrate their wedding anniversary on Tuesday, January 28.
Barry and Linda Miles visited in the home of Ruby Cogdill in Cumberland on Sunday afternoon, January 19.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association will host their regular monthly meeting on Saturday, February 1 at 10 a.m. with breakfast at Teresa’s Place in Spouses Corner. All members and perspective members are asked to attend and plan to pay for their own meal.

The Appomattox County High School Athletic Booster Club will present an Appomattox Bluegrass Concert Series. Union Branch Baptist Church, located on Bridgeport Road in Arvonia, will host their January Food Distribution on Saturday, January 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. Recipients must be a Buckingham County resident and will receive one box per household. Boxes are served on a first-come first-served basis or until all food is gone.
