CARTERSVILLE, November 26 — Joseph Weldon Jones, 47, of Cartersville, died Sunday, November 17, 2013. Born November 11, 1966, he was a son of the late Marsha Ann Whitehurst Jones and Milton Meade Jones.

He was a 1989 honors graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, a gifted writer, and a talented musician.

Mr. Jones is survived by a sister, Virginia Hope (Ginny) Jones; brother, Milton Meade Jones Jr.; three nieces, Dakota Ashley Jones, Rebecca Ann Litton, and Caroline Anne Jones; and a nephew, Richard Meade Jones.

A memorial service will be held at his home in Cartersville on Saturday, November 30.
