Twelve year old Tyrek Glover, a rising eight grader at Buckingham County Middle School, was recently named Home Run King by the Buckingham County Youth League committee. Glover, who is the son of Latasha and James Glover, hit an amazing eight home runs during the regular ball season. Glover has been playing ball since he was five, and has been named to the Buckingham All-Stars team. Glover is coached by Danny Taylor, Dennis Taylor, and his father, James Glover on the team sponsored by Foster Tire. Tyrek is shown with his certificate, trophy, and the eight balls that allowed him to win the honor.
