Visiting in the home of Ruby Cogdill in Cumberland last Saturday, March 9, was her grandson, Walter Cook, and also Barbara Cook, both of Powhatan.

Bradley Carter, of North Carolina, visited in the home of his sister, Ann Carter, of Dillwyn, last weekend.

Maranatha Baptist Church, located on Tuggle Road in Farmville, will host Annual Revival Services Sunday, March 17 through Wednesday, March 20.

John Shelley of The Rock of Ages Ministries in Stuart, will be the guest speaker for the special services.

On Sunday, March 17, services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with special music from The Old Time Gospel Singers of Crewe.

Following this will be the morning worship service at 11 a.m. and more special music by the Old Time Gospel Singers. Lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall after the morning service. The closing service of the day will be at 6 p.m. with special music by Rhonda Arnold, Michelle Grimsley and Melissa Kuegler, all of Prospect. Services Monday, March 18 through Wednesday, March 20 will begin at 7 p.m. nightly.

Special music will include: Monday, March 18, Pianist Cody Moss, from the First Baptist Church in Dillwyn; Tuesday, March 19, a special surprise treat; and Wednesday, March 20, the Oak Hill Mennonite Quartet of Cumberland.
