BUCKINGHAM, January 17 – Joyce Palmore Duncan, 79, of Buckingham, widow of Clarence W. Duncan died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at UVA Hospital, Charlottesville. Mrs. Duncan was born in Powhatan on December 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Ollie Palmore and Lillian Heath Palmore.

She is survived by a son, Michael Duncan and wife, Cindy; grandson, James Michael Duncan and wife, Lacie; granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Duncan and two special friends, Gladys Rosen and Winnie Brown.

The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18 at Cedar Baptist Church, Dillwyn.
