PE Middle Schoolers Fall To Lunenburg 45-43

Prince Edward Middle School boys basketball dropped a 45-43 decision to Lunenburg on Monday night. The game was as close as the final score indicates, as Lunenburg was able to claim the victory by sinking a pair of foul shots with .3 seconds remaining.

The game was close throughout the evening. The teams went into the halftime break deadlocked at 23 apiece. Kevon Braxton scored eight of his team high 13 points for the Eagles (2-2, 2-1)in the first half.

Zarius Jones finished with ten points, while Quantavis Nash scored eight.

Prince Edward was scheduled to travel to Charlotte County to play the Central Middle School Bobcats on Wednesday.
