DECEMBER 4 – Janie Kesler Glass, 91, of Farmville, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 in Farmville. She was born June 23, 1921 in Halifax, the daughter of the late George Henry and Alice Newton Kesler. She grew up in Buckingham County and was the widow of William Bruce Glass. She was a long time member of the Ruth Adams Garden Club.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Barnes, Greg Glass and Rick Glass; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, Lola Owen, Minnie Druen and Mabel Davis and son, Donald Kayton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 2 p.m. at Farmville United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight), December 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Puckett Funeral Home.
