DECEMBER 18 – Edward “Red” Irby passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012. He was born in Prince Edward County to the late Anna Mae Thornhill Irby and Joseph Irby.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Boettjer Irby; two daughters, Tammy Irby Irvin of Appomattox and Melissa Bauer Chavous (Clayton) of Trenton, FL; four granddaughters, Kari, Morgan, Taylor and Kristen Irvin and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his self-adopted parents, Coye and Lida Loveday and son-in-law, Tommy Irvin.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 18, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
