November 22 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out this week to Mathew Mahunik, of Brookneal, Nov. 24; Barbara Heifner, of Dillwyn, Nov. 25; Cameron Cloud, pastor of Hatcher Baptist Church of Cumberland, Nov. 27.

Welcome home to Nancy Midkiff of Cumberland who spent several days in the hospital last week also welcome home to Elizabeth Cook, of Midlothian, who also spent several days in the hospital. Both ladies are said to be doing fine.

Congratulations to J.R. and Margy Smith, of Farmville. The couple will celebrate their wedding anniversary Nov. 27.

Dot Brown, of Richmond, spent a few days recently with her sister Ann Carter, of Dillwyn.

Congratulations to James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, who will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 27. In honor of this occasion a large crowd attended a celebration luncheon on Sunday afternoon at their home in Cumberland County.
