BUCKINGHAM, October 4 – Kenneth Fielden Reynolds, 88, of Buckingham, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at his home. He was born December 23, 1923 in Buckingham to the late Samuel and Vandy Wright Reynolds.
He was a Korean Army veteran. After his retirement from Solite Corp. he sold produce and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Poe Reynolds; daughter, Debbie R. Young (Tyrone) of Suffolk; stepson, Vernon Word (Sue) of West Palm Beach, FL; six sisters, Janie Cimino of Goochland, Linda Arndt of Richmond, Ethelene Shumaker, Annette Blanks and Arlene Childress, all of Dillwyn and Joyce Brinkley of Winchester; two grandsons, Brandon and Calvin Young; two step-grandchildren, Crews Word and Andrea Word and a great-grandson, Jaden Young. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Whitten and June Adt, and a stepson Kenneth Word.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 11 a.m. at Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in St. Andrew's Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.
