NEW YORK, July 12 – Leah Jean Menshouse Springer, of Lake View, NY, born February 17, 1980, was taken far too early from this earth on Sunday, July 8, 2012. She loved life, music, travel, and helping other people. She had a huge heart and shared her love selflessly. Most of all she loved her family. She successfully battled cancer and was a two-year survivor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian; mother and father, Georgene and Don Menshouse of Chesterfield, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Annie (Menshouse) and Thilanka Samarasekera of St. Charles, MO; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maryann and Homer Springer of Farmville; uncle and aunt, George and Mary Horneker of St. Louis, MO; aunt, Barbara Menshouse of Bowling Green, MO; and cousins, Jeff and Susie Horneker, Jessie and Ryan Lovell, Sarah and Jack Boeger, and Ryan Horneker, all of St. Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and George Ann Horneker and Ernest and Verna Menshouse, and an uncle, Arthur Menshouse.
A private service will be held by the family.
