ARVONIA, July 31 – On Saturday, July 28, 2012, God called Evelyn T. Jones from her house on James Madison Highway, Arvonia, to her home on Heavenly Boulevard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deleware Jones and brothers, Willen Allen and Aaron Mason.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2, at 11 a.m. from the Baptist Union Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Reid's Funeral Home.

In celebration of her life, the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Arvonia.

Reid's Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is in charge of arrangements.
