TENNESSEE, July 17 – Carol “Reece” Shular Sr., 83, of Sevierville, TN and formerly of Farmville, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. He was a lifetime member of the Farmville Moose Lodge 968 in Farmville and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Carol Reece Shular Jr. and William David Shular and wife, Johnna; many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Julian Walden of Mississippi; and extra special friend, Barbara Watson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Gayle Thomas, infant son, William Harold Shular, parents, William “Bill” and Anna Shular, brothers, Ray Shular, John Shular, Wilford Shular, Gordon Shular, Nelson Shular, George Shular, and Robert Shular and sisters, Maisie Gibson and Maxine Shular.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Kelling officiating. Interment will follow in Walden's Creek Methodist Cemetery.
