JUNE 28 – Ralph Daniel Holcomb, II, 57, of Farmville, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Lynchburg. He was born November 12, 1954 in Portsmouth, the son of Nancy McGuire Diamond and the late Ralph Daniel Holcomb. He worked as a carpenter, a fisherman and lastly as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Diamond of Farmville; stepfather, John Diamond; children, Nancy Knight, and Patricia, Jolean and Jacob Hart all of Massachusetts; sister, Terri Lasiter of Skipwith; brother, Stacy Holcomb of Atlanta, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 11 a.m. at Farmville United Methodist Church.
