CHESTERFIELD, June 5 – Francis Ernest Brown, 79, of Chesterfield, born September 17, 1932 in Winooski, VT, died Friday, June 1, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley G. Brown; two daughters, Sandra Reamy (Ryland) and Sheila Hammond (Willard); stepdaughter, Hollis Near; two stepsons, William C. and Michael A. Near; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Fredrica LaClair, Jeannine Casey and Marilyn Murphy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Mae Dennis Brown, daughter, Thelma Yvonne Brown; son, Ernest Bernard Brown, sister, Lorraine Ely, and two brothers, Bernard and Paul Brown.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Richmond.
