CREWE, June 7 – Dorothy M. Popecki, 62 of Crewe, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 in Lynchburg.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Paul Popecki Sr. of Crewe; son, Joseph Paul Popecki Jr. of Mocksville, NC; daughter, Suzanne Dorothy Biggs of Burkeville; son, Ted P. Popecki of Sewell NJ; nine grandchildren; niece, Ester Karrer of Prospect; three brothers, Ted Bartleson of Bricksboro, NJ, Paul Bartleson of Port Norris, NJ, and Jody Bartleson of Elizabethtown, NC; and sister, Kathy Simpkins of Shiloh, NJ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Bartleson and a sister, Sharon Gillespie.

A graveside funeral service was held Wednesday, June 6, at Westview Cemetery in Farmville.
