Armed Robbery Suspects Sought

BUCKINGHAM – A press release from Buckingham County Sheriff William G. Kidd reported on Monday that at approximately 1:07 a.m. on June 18, the Buckingham County Emergency Communications Center received a call referencing an armed robbery at a residence on Woodland Church Road in the Yogaville area.
The press release stated that deputies responded and identified two victims, a male and female that reside where the incident took place.
According to the release, “The victims stated they awoke to someone knocking on their front door. Upon opening the door, four black males forced their way inside. Once inside the assailants demanded money and held them a gunpoint. Both victims were struck several times on their heads, sustaining minor injuries. The assailants removed an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled toward South James River Highway, Route 56, in a newer style dark-colored sedan.”
