MAY 29 – Robert B. Huskey, 82, of Farmville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was the retired owner of Farmville Auto Parts, starting the business in 1953. He was an avid collector, enjoyed playing checkers and telling stories about the old days and loved to “watch his garden grow”.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Turner Huskey; children, Susan H. Cieslak (Jim) of Richmond, Robert B. Huskey Jr. “Bobby” (Penny) of Farmville, Charles T. Huskey (Karen) of Columbia, MD and Mark L. Huskey (Lisa) of Rochelle; brother, Harris T. Huskey (Marjorie) of Farmville; grandchildren, Jennifer and Warren Cieslak, and Matthew and Nicholas Huskey; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his loving dog “Lacie”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary McCeldry Huskey and brothers, Gene and Dott Huskey.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 27, in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Westview Cemetery.
