DILLWYN, May 29 – Barbara Lee Barnes Kennedy, 72, of Dillwyn died Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was the widow of Arthur Francis Kennedy.

She is survived by three daughters, Belinda Marie Lester and Frances Lee Garrett, both of Dillwyn and Sherry E. Loutzenhiser of Gladstone; two sons, Tommy Lee Whichard of Swoope, and Arthur Francis Kennedy Jr. of Prairieville, LA; sister, Ethel Ward of Virginia Beach; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 1 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Baptist Church.
