April 19 – Congratulations to Billy and Marie Adams of Farmville. The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary on Wednesday, April 18.
Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Casey Lynch Ownby, of Dillwyn, celebrating on Friday, April 20, John Davis, of New Canton, celebrating on Sunday, April 22, Bill Pembelton, of Powhatan, Todd Worley, of Cumberland, Nancy Fairchild, of New Canton and Ray Martin and Bernice Baird, both of Dillwyn, all celebrating on Tuesday, April 24, and Junior Midkiff, of Cumberland, celebrating on Wednesday, April 25.
Our thoughts and prayers go out this week to those who are sick and shut-in.
Dot Brown, of Richmond, spent last weekend with her sister, Ann Carter, in Dillwyn. A nice time was enjoyed.
Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, Elisabeth, Holly and Tina Cook and Lisa Vaughn, all of Midlothian, enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship at a Powhatan Restaurant on Saturday, April 7.
Welcome home to Darlene Christian of New Canton, she spent sometime as a patient in the hospital. She is said to be doing well at home as of this writing.
Pete and Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, visited in the home of Curtis and Faye Marion in Cumberland on Monday afternoon, April 16.
The Annual Volunteer Luncheon was held on Tuesday, April 17 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Dillwyn. A large crowd attended and would like to thank the entire management and staff for a well-planned event.
