I read with great interest your editorial of April 4, 2012, entitled “They Are All Your Children, Prince Edward County” and hope that the response of your readers is similar to mine. Your message was excellent and holds true for all counties. It is also very refreshing to see a local newspaper that supports its public schools. It is my hope that the decision-makers in Prince Edward and in your neighboring counties will have the opportunity to read your editorial. What is more important than a thriving public school system?
