APRIL 17 – Charles Kasper Bappert, 98, of Farmville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his home. Born February 26, 1914 in Seaside, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Kasper W. and Margaret Townsendberger Bappert. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Raymond of Farmville; two grandsons, Albert of Farmville and David of Prospect; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anna Croft and Helen Brimfield both of New Jersey.

A memorial service was held Saturday, April 14 in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
