GLADSTONE, Feb. 14 – Roger Dyches Seay, 68, of Gladstone, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Tammy White Seay. Born in Buckingham County on February 22, 1943, he was a son of the late Allen Watson and Virginia Gregory Seay. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, a charter member of Toga Fire Department, and a carpenter.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Virginia Louise Seay and Rachel Dawn Seay both of Madison Heights, and Jordan Elizabeth Seay of Buckingham and her boyfriend, Justin Allen who was like a son to him; two grandchildren, Taylor MeKenzie Jones and Aaron Watson Seay; three brothers, Richard Seay and wife, Linda and Charles Seay and wife, Kathy all of Appomattox and Berry Seay of Buckingham; and a special great niece, Camdyn K. Taylor.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 13 in Union Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Douglas Adams. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
