CUMBERLAND, Dec. 29 – Watt Phillip Trent, 82, of Cumberland, departed this life on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Cumberland.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Booker Trent; three sons, Hazel Trent (Gloria), Marshall Trent (Bonnie) and Alfred Trent (Bridgette); three daughters, Catherine Johnson, Velma Mayo and Romaine Holcomb (Chris); brother, Franklin Trent (Pauline); three sisters, Lillian Montaque, Mozelle Trent and Iola Bartee; sister-in-law, Catherine Booker; two brothers-in-law, Robert Booker and Irving Booker (Mary); nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home where public viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Reed Rock Baptist Church, Amelia, with the Rev. Eddie Giles, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Hill and Webster Cemetery, Amelia.
