CHARLOTTE CH, Dec. 1 – Lois Vassar Walker, 95, of Charlotte Court House, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

She is survived by her children, Randolph P. Walker and Marianne W. Thorpe of Charlotte Court House, and Rosemarie W. O'Dell of Richmond; a brother, Reginald L. Vassar of Erie, PA; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Hezzie P. Walker; brother, Basil M. Vassar; sisters, Elizabeth V. Pickett and Edith V. Gentry; and granddaughters, April and Lorianne Gallimore.

A funeral service was held Thursday, December 1, in the Concord Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House, with interment in the church cemetery.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, was in charge of arrangements.
