Ralph and Fern Dunnavant visited in the home of Pete and Annie May Miles in Dillwyn on Monday morning, September 19.

Happy Anniversary wishes are sent out to Eugene (Jack) and Jean Talley, of New Canton, celebrating on Friday, September 23, and Pastor Donald and Sue Floyd of Evergreen, celebrating on Sunday, September 25.

Hello this week to our Dear Friends in Christ Margarette Spencer of Buckingham and Becky Baldwin of Dillwyn.

Our prayers and thoughts go out this week to all those who are sick and shut-in.

The Allen Family Reunion was held on Sunday, September 18 at Wiley and Linda Allen's pond in Dillwyn. A nice crowd attended and enjoyed great fellowship and food.

The 2011 Five County Fair will be held Tuesday, October 18 thru Saturday, October 22. More details later.

Jones Chapel Baptist Church, located on Trents Mill Road in Cumberland for a special September 23 program. David Ring shares how he became a cerebral palsy victor. The program begins at 7 p.m. all are invited to attend. For further information, contact 804-492-3262.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization will host their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 3 at 5 p.m. in Browns Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, located on U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn. All members are asked to attend and bring a covered dish for supper. This will be followed by our annual Jam Session in which members are asked to bring their musical instruments to play.
