BURKEVILLE, Sept. 20 – Timothy Allen Jones, 43, of Burkeville, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011.

He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Tammy Smith; her children and grandchildren, Freddy and Katie Smith; their daughter, Chloe, Jessee Smith and Tim and their children, Brittany and Dillian; his mother, Carolyn Long; sisters, Kathy Green and husband, Jeff and Peggy Justice and husband, John; brother, Allen Jones Jr. and wife, Tanya; stepmother, Betty Jones; and seven very special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Jones.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday September 22 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Amelia, with interment to follow at the John Lewis Mottley family cemetery.
