Editor, The Herald:

I am writing this letter because of the last two sheriff elections in Buckingham. A few years back after the election people were against people. The next election, again, people against people.

I think a lot of Gerald Washington and James Tyree. I haven't had the privilege of meeting Bill Merritt.

What I'm trying to say is everyone has their choice of who they think will do the best job. My choice is Billy Kidd. If I have made the wrong choice, please don't hold it against me.

The main thing I'm trying to say is everybody has their choice. Please speak to me the day after the election like you did the day before the election.
