Aug. 18 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out this week to Bea England, of Dillwyn, on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Congratulations to T.J. and Stephanie Waycaster, of Powhatan, a girl (Cece Nicole) was born on Friday, Aug. 12.
Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, along with Tom Snead, of Glen Allen, and his two daughters, Karen Agnew and her friend, Jim Horning, and Cheryl Miles and their families, all of Richmond and Glen Allen, enjoyed fellowship at a Richmond restaurant, Aug. 14, in honor of several birthdays this month including David Miles, Karen Agnew, of Richmond, Tom Snead, of Glen Allen, Barry Miles, of Cumberland, and Meg Agnew, of Richmond.
Our prayers and thoughts go out this week to all those who are sick and shut-in.
Clarence Walters, of Powhatan, visited briefly in the home of Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, Aug. 16.
Thirty-five former Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory employees were in attendance for their annual breakfast meeting at Country Cookin in Farmville on Aug. 13. Everyone enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.
Pete and Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, visited several residents at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Dillwyn, Aug. 13.
Welcome home to Ruby Cogdill, of Cumberland, who returned home Friday from Central Southside Community Hospital.
Our sympathy is extended to the Tom Snead family, of Glen Allen, in the passing of his brother, Ralph, from Lovingston this past weekend.
