RESTON, Aug. 16 – Esther Mae George Rapier, 83, of Reston, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Fairfax. She was born June 14, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to Iola Motley Dailey and Posey George.

She was retired from the Fairfax County Schools as a secretary. She was married to Don Robert Rapier on July 30, 1949.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two stepbrothers, Ronnie and Tommy Dailey both of Florida.

Funeral services were conducted Monday August 15, in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, with interment in Worsham Baptist Church Cemetery.
